Last Bee of the Night
Take a break already!
Let`s Bee Friends
I think this is a bee, but I could be wrong. It could be a wasp, I have no idea. I suppose I should go look it up, but I am not in the mood to learn right now :)
Found a new and quicker way of getting to the dogpark too, which is awesome. Hopefully I won't have to battle for parking on those 'busy' days.

Orchid Inside in May
Ok, last shot of the orchid for today, for comparison. This shot is inside, but still in the sunlight. Nice grey wall in the background eh?
Orchid City in May
Was feeling inspired this morning before work, so I took a quick shot using the ample sunlight that was there. Wish I could've played longer :)

White Daisy Photography Test X
Ok, this one turned out really well. I am really pleased with the colour and fullness of the frame.
Trying to learn what makes a neat photo and what makes an awesome shot. It takes some thought.
Daisy Flower Test IX
I love the yellow in this one. I think it`s a Gerber daisy, but I could be wrong. It was across the street :).
Played with the lights a bit here, it`s hard to tell which is the better shot..
Purple Flower Photography Test X
It would seem that often the last picture of a set taken is often the best one. Is that 'chance' at play or just because I am practicing? More testing needed.
I think this is the best shot of the bunch (for the purple).
Daisy Flower Test IX
There`s that pesky painting in the background again. I like the colours on this one for sure.
Is that a lemon under there? :)
Purple Flower Photography Test X
Another shot of the purple flower, but this time inside using studio lights. Not too bad, compared to the overcast I had going on the balcony. Good times.

Purple Flower Photography Test X
Playing around outside on the balcony. You can already see an improvement in the light and colours. Nothing beats the sun. Nice shade of purple, in my opinion.
Cinema high again.
Update:
Now that I look at this again, I really dislike the colour in the background. I have better shots.
Daisy Flower Test IX
Ok, so in the studio, playing around with flower and my lights. Two out of 5 light bulbs have already burnt out. Technology needs to invent a bulb that can last. didn't have enough light, but had fun playing around. Sun would be way better.
Cinema high on the processing.

Flower Photography Test VII
Just playing around with lighting and some flowers from across the street. Sure is handy they deliver so much across the street. Flowers are way too pricey though. Cinema High on the processing here. Two hard lights used, 500 watts x 2 on a stand, and another 500 watt on the floor from bottom up.
I like the lighting effects here. I don't really have a studio here, but I like to play around.
Wish list includes some pro strobe light systems. ($) all in due time.

Orange Bromeliad At Night III
Velvia Middle used on this one.. Still not sure which settings to use.. This one has too much direct light, I think..
Orange Bromeliad V

Ok, so this one is processed a little differently and also smaller size. Still making my way through all this fun stuff.
Orange Bromeliad III

..and once again, a different post-processing. I think it's going to take awhile to master how to process a nice shot. I wonder if they give classes on just "post-processing".
Orange Bromeliad I

Doing some more photography tests, this time with an orange plant. Didn't take my time to setup the shot as dinner was on it's way (and it shows, imo).
Anyhow, still fun to get my hands on the camera..

Pink Orchid Rain III
I think this is my favourite scene. I like the indoor rain thing for sure, plus all of the colours you can see in the background.
I also made a video on youtube.
